They learn when you're not watching

Abigail is just so amazing. We were singing the alphabet song with her several times a few weeks ago and it didn't seem to be sticking with her. Then with the busyness of getting ready for Wil's deployment, that kind of fell to the wayside. Now, all of the sudden she's singing the alphabet song, all by herself. It's like she learned it before and then was just waiting to surprise us with it. Wish you were here to hear her sing it, Wil. Maybe she'll do it when we do a webcam. Who am I kidding? She never performs on command =)

Abigail

We had a get together with some of Wil's friends before he left and figured it would be a good time to get a family photo. Here are all of our new hair cuts - we all got them on the same day. Of course you'll recognize Wil's as the same haircut he gets every week.

Watching TV with her Daddy
I justwanted to thank all of you for your well wishes - we're very excited about our new little one. We're hoping that Wil will make it home for the birth but we decided that we couldn't plan our lives around his deployments. We had to make the decision that was right for our family.

Big News

For those of you who haven't heard, I am officially pregnant with kiddo number two. We wanted to wait until we saw the little ones heart beat to tell everyone except for our families. Fortunately we found out while they were here visiting over Christmas so we were able to tell them in person. We have a due date of the 10th of August right now but that may change next week when I go for a dating ultrasound. Hopefully that will get pushed back a little bit as that will be cutting it close for Wil being able to be there. It's not going to be easy going through this pregnancy with Wil deployed but hopefully by the time Wil leaves my morning sickness will be gone. Fortunately I was able to get a prescription at my last doctor's visit which seems to be helping. I actually had four days in a row of not throwing up, too much information I know, but I've really been almost incapacitated by the nasuea. It was to the point that Wil was starting to worry that I wouldn't be able to take care of Abigail when he had to leave, so now that things are getting better it's a huge relief to both of us.

That's all for now, I'm sure I'll be posting more soon. Hopefully there will be an ultrasound picture of our little one coming next week.
