Putt Putt

Woohoo!

Got such a great deal on tickets home for the holidays that I was able to get Ethan his own seat and still pay less than we had budgeted for two tickets.  If anyone is planning on flying November through January this year US airways has some really great deals right now, at least for flying from Honolulu to Detroit.  So for those of you who we'll be seeing in Michigan let me know what dates you'd like the kids and me to visit and I'll "pencil it in."

In other news I got an e-mail from our Family Readiness Officer (FRO) letting us know that the Black Pearl was moored just twenty minutes up the coast so the kids and I took a little drive to check it out.

Fun Weekend

- started the weekend off with our Aloha to Alaina coffee, a lively night out in Waikiki with karaoke at the shorebird.  Alaina wowed us with her guts and her voice.

- we put Ethan to bed and let Abigail stay up late with us while we had a fire in the yard, roasted marshmallows and ate 'smores.

- got to see a free sneak preview of Nanny McPhee returns with our friends the Ladners.  It was a little over Abigail's head but we enjoyed it.
