We're having one of "those" days. Abigail didn't take her nap today. She was quiet for 45 minutes or so and then she started fussing. I went in to see what was wrong and she said "di-di" which means diaper. But she wasn't wet or stinky so I assumed she wanted to go to the potty but of course when I asked her she said NO. So I tried holding her and singing to her and nothing worked so finally I took her to sit on the potty but when I started to take her diaper off she was all poopy. So then I felt bad for thinking that she was just saying di-di to get out of bed. Anyway, long story-short she never went down. She was in her crib for like two hours though. So needless to say she's been very cranky. Fortunately one of her friends came over to hang out for a couple of hours while his parents took his baby brother to the doctor which helped a lot. They entertained each other which gave me a nice break. He just went home though so now I've got an hour of cranky, sleep-deprived toddler antics to deal with. Wil being on assignment right now certainly doesn't make things any easier but I did get an e-mail from him today.
