Halfway done!

We've reached the halfway point in Wil's deployment. In some ways I can't believe we're already halfway done and at the same time I can't believe we're only halfway there. We've been really blessed with the communication situation. Even with being in Afghanistan Wil still manages to call or e-mail almost every day - even if it's just for a few minutes before he goes out for a flight.

In other news it is looking like we will in fact be moving. We had wanted to move on base eventually we just weren't sure if this was the right time for us or not. Well it turns out that if we turn down this house we'll be taken off the waiting list and if we got put back on the list we'll be the lowest priority with an indefinite wait time. I get to actually go inside the house tomorrow so unless there's something majorly wrong we're planning on accepting the house. So keep Abigail and I in your prayers over the next month as we go through these changes. I can't believe I'm actually going to move, at 6 months pregnant, with an almost three year old and a deployed husband. But like Wil said, once I do this, I'll know that there isn't anything I can't handle.

Pool

I took Abigail to the O-club pool today - everyone had been telling me how much nicer it was than the main pool and they were right. I was really wishing that I would have brought my camera because Abigail was so cute playing with Payton and Kristin. Fortunately April had brought hers and she captured this adorable moment when we were getting the kids dried off and ready to go home.

Neighbors

Here in Hawaii if you don't have air conditioning you pretty much have every single window in your house open all day, every day. (Unless of course it's "winter" and down to a chilly 65 degrees). So you can basically hear everything your neighbors say and do. Which leads me to believe that my neighbors must be purposefully saving their weed eating, lawn mowing, and fence post driving for the exact moment that I'm trying to get Abigail to take her nap.

(I haven't decided whether to blame this ranting post on being pregnant or the fact that summer has arrived here to the islands and the humidity is back in full force.)
